Week 12 Schedule

We hope students enjoy CLD Day #2. Students who attended on-campus workshops were able to hear from a great panel of healthcare professionals from St. Mary’s Medical Center. For those students who did their learning at home, we hope you had a productive day. As a reminder, all students will need to fill out Attendance Learning Logs to earn attendance credit for the day.

A reminder that the Fall Dance is postponed to December 11th.

We wish Y&G a great conference at Camp Roberts and the 4201 Vitruvian Bots a wonderful time at Beach Blitz this weekend.

Sunday is Daylight Savings Time- set your clocks back one hour, kids get an extra hour of sleep!

Coffee w/ Admin: Our next parent coffee will be this Wednesday, November 4 from 4:15-5:15 at this Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/3108950461.
Parents, guardians, and students can drop in to ask administration and staff questions and receive updates on school happenings. Topic: DVS School Priorities and Goals 26-27 School Year, Q&A.
College Rep Visits for Week 12: All visits take place at lunchtime in Mr. Perez’s classroom. All grade levels are welcome!

- Friday, November 6th: UCLA

Farmworkers Day has officially been moved to April 10th in California. Da Vinci Schools will now be observing the holiday on April 9th. There will be school on Wednesday, March 31st. The DVS Planning Calendar and Weekly Schedules have been updated to reflect this.

Parent Association Gratitude Baskets: It’s that time of year- Gratitude Baskets for our amazing DVS staff. To show our appreciation, the DVS Parent Association is continuing the tradition of Gratitude Baskets, which will be delivered to staff on Friday, November 20th. How You Can Help:
- Donate Items – Contribute staff favorites for the baskets—see the list HERE. Drop off items at the DVS front office from Monday, November 2nd – Thursday, November 19th.
- Monetary Gifts – COSTCO gift cards or Cash can be dropped off or emailed to dvsappreciation@gmail.com or sent via Venmo: @Molly-Nellman, Zelle: mshreno@gmail.com by Monday, November 16th. These donations will be used to purchase items for Gratitude Baskets for all staff members.
- Notes of Thanks – Handwritten messages from parents and students are highly encouraged and will be included in the baskets. Staff love getting notes from students! Drop off notes at the DVS front office.
- Volunteer to Assemble Baskets – Parents are invited to help fill the baskets! Sign up here: SignUpGenius Volunteer Form
