Happy Winter Break!
Winter Break has begun! The students did a great job learning and working hard through Semester 1. The semester ended well with impressive POLs, final projects, and finals. Now is the time to rest and recuperate. From our Family to Yours, “Happy Holidays From the DVS Family.”
We wish our families a warm, cozy, and restful Winter Break! We encourage students to lean into pajamas and sweats, catch up on sleep, and enjoy some well-deserved rest over the holidays. We’ll see you in 2026!
This Week’s Announcements
- Fall 2025 Report Cards: will be mailed home at the end of next week, we will restore PowerSchool access at that time as well.
- Grade Correction Policy and Process: According to the DVS Handbook, students have 30 school days from when a grade is received to request a correction. Requests must be emailed to DVS Principal, Grace Long (glong@davincischools.org) and should clearly explain the reason for the request (for example, a grading or calculation error), along with any relevant supporting information. Please note that after review, the final grade may remain unchanged, be raised, or be lowered according to the information available.
- School will be closed during Winter Break: During this time, families may contact the front office via email, and we will respond as soon as possible. The front office will open on Monday, 1/5.
- DVS Parent Association (DVSPA) Announcements:
- DVSPA Meeting, TUES Jan 27th 5:30 – 6:30pm on DVS campus.
- 2nd Annual DVS Parent Bingo Night, Sunday, February 22nd, 5-8pm.
