The talk will be hosted in-person at DVS in the Galileo Room at 6 pm on Wednesday, 5/22.

Every year, The Posse Foundation works closely with high schools, like Da Vinci Science, to recruit students who demonstrate leadership and academic potential to become a Posse Scholar. If selected, a Posse Scholar wins a four-year, full-tuition scholarship to attend one of Posse’s partner colleges or universities:

Hi Junior Families! I hope you’re having a great week. As I mentioned during the 11th grade College Planning Meeting last week, I will begin Individual Post-DVS College Planning Meetings with you and your parent/guardian during mid April and run through May. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss next year’s plan; including the college application process, career selection and post-high school plans. Every Junior is expected to schedule a meeting and have at least one parent/guardian present. However, if a parent/guardian is unable to attend, students are still expected to sign up. This meeting can be in person or via Zoom. These meetings can also be conducted in Spanish, if needed. Ms. Ruiz, Academic Counselor for the 11th grade, and I will provide classroom presentations on 4/8/24 to prepare students for this meeting.
