Make-Up Designory is a Los Angeles school with courses in beauty makeup artistry, character makeup artistry, special make-up effects, studio hairstyling, and portfolio development. They are hosting an Open House event on Saturday, October 7th 10am-12pm. To register, click here.

Architecture, Engineering and Construction Careers Event
City of Angels independent study school welcomes people of all ages to their Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Career Event on Saturday, October 21st 9:00am- 1:00pm located at their East Los Angeles- Sunrise site:

Students will be exposed to information, and opportunities – education, training, internships, apprenticeships, and jobs across the fields of Engineering, Architecture, and Construction.

Good morning, senior families! We will host an in-person 12th grade college and career planning information session this Thursday, October 5th from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm on the DVS Campus. Ms. Marquez, College and Career Counselor, and Mr. Perez, College, Career and Life (CCL) teacher, will provide an overview of the College and Career process for the Class of 2024. Come learn about the college application process, the support and services we provide in CCL to help students solidify their college list, and the FAFSA/ CASAA and CSS Profile and the FAFSA changes.
