Student Experience

Meals

Daily breakfast and lunch menus can be accessed at https://davincischools.nutrislice.com/menu/da-vinci-high.

Da Vinci Schools continues to offer FREE breakfast and lunch to all students through the California Universal Meals Program. In order to maximize funding for ALL students, families were asked to complete the CA Household Income Data Collection form as part of the “First Day” forms in SchoolMint. The online federal Meal Application is available at MySchoolApps.com. No Social Security number is required, and income is tracked in broad windows rather than specific amounts. This information will not be shared or utilized for any other purpose.

If you need assistance, please contact Sara at meals@davincischools.org.

Seminars

Seminars are an important part of Da Vinci culture. They are opportunities for students to receive additional academic support, explore their interests and passions, and hone their leadership skills. Seminars take place at the end of the school day and are typically 1 credit in comparison to academic periods, which are 5 credits.

Students submit their seminar requests at the beginning of the school year. See this Seminar Descriptions document for the seminar offerings for the Spring 2024. Most seminars are year-long, whereas some span one semester.

Clubs

DVS is home to a wide variety of clubs and extracurricular opportunities. Most clubs at DVS are student-led with supervision and guidance provided by a DVS staff member.

See this DVS Clubs website for available clubs for the 2023-2024 school year.

Athletics
