Transitions to Adulthood – Group Counseling Opportunity
Group Counseling Opportunity – Topic: Transitions to Adulthood
The idea of “adulting” is both exhilarating and terrifying. Some students will be leaving home for the first time and going to college. Others may want to work and live on their own. Becoming an adult is going to happen whether there is a plan or not and we know things don’t always go according to plan. Participating in a group to talk through the transition to adulthood can help facilitate learning how to cope with these future transitions.
Details: Pepperdine therapist interns will facilitate this semester’s counseling group focused on transitions that 11th and 12th graders may face such as peer pressure, identity exploration, professional development, and future personal aspirations. The group will begin on February 24 and meet for six weeks on Mondays during seminar in the Mirzakhani Room.
