New Assistant Principal @ DVS

Dear DVS Family,
I hope you are enjoying your summer! I am writing to share with you the result of our assistant principal search process.
I am grateful to all of our staff, parents and students who participated in the process and provided feedback on the video interviews and the interview symposium. All of this feedback was helpful for me as I evaluated which candidate would be the best fit for our school family and culture and needs, and am happy to announce that our new assistant principal is Lori Hunt.
Lori has been an assistant principal at Sylmar Biotech Health Academy for the last 3 years, and prior to that she was an English teacher and instructional leader at STEM Academy of Hollywood. In addition to her 10 years of experience as a teacher and 3 years of experience as a school leader, Lori brings to our family a ton of enthusiasm and creativity and is looking forward to supporting our students and staff as we move forward into Season 11!
I hope that you will join me in welcoming Lori to our DVS family!

Recycling at Da Vinci Schools

Students and staff at Da Vinci are working to implement a recycling program to educate students and adults on the importance of recycling and raise awareness about how our waste can negatively impact our community and planet.

Students and staff intend to make this a sustainable program and plan to roll it out this coming fall.

We are working on obtaining recycling bins and educational signage to help teach our community the right way to clean up.

If you are interested in learning more or wanting to help with this program please complete this form.

Thank you!
