Hi Families of Seniors!
The next big event we have coming up for seniors is Grad Nite at Six Flags. This will take place on Friday, May 29th (7pm departure from DVS) and the students will return back on Saturday, May 30th around 4am. The cost of the ticket is $90, and it includes transportation, access to the park, a meal, and a free ticket to Hurricane Harbor over the summer. Students can buy tickets in Ms. McLean’s room during office hours this week and next. The dress code is pretty strict; you’ll see it when you sign your son/daughter’s permission slip for the event. The permission slip is included in this post, too. Contact Erin if you have questions! email@example.com

Tomorrow (May 6th), in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, lunch will be free for all DVS students and staff! Revolution Foods (our food vendor) is hosting a BBQ for us – they’ll be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers on site!
Hi 9th Grade Families!
We know that some of you were unable to make the 9th Grade Spring College Planning Meeting because the only times available were during the day. We’ve created a special-edition evening meeting for Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30pm and we hope to see you there! Please let us know you’re coming so we can plan for you. The link to sign-up is below. Please bring your son/daughter with you, as well. If you have any questions, contact Erin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This weekend is a terrific time to take a few minutes and write notes of thanks to the teachers that have worked so hard all year long to leach, love and support your kids! (You can drop off any notes at our office and we will happily deliver them for you!)
Next week is also the last week of seminars.
