On Wednesday, October 15th, all of the 10th and 11th graders at DVS will take the PSAT. The PSAT is a standardized test that prepares students for the college admissions exams they will take in the spring of their junior year. The cost of the test is $14, and you can register and pay at this link starting today: http://www.davincischools.org/collegepsat

Students, teachers, and administrators at Da Vinci Science, a certified PLTW Engineering high school, welcomed a high profile delegation of South Korean officials and science professionals this week!
The delegation included the Director General of the Federation of Busan Science and Technology, an organization dedicated to supporting science curriculum and education for students in Busan, South Korea.
Congrats to the PLTW teachers and students for the excellent work they do that is being recognized around the world!

If you would be willing to be available as a resource in any area in which you have experience/expertise, we would appreciate it if you would go to the link below and add your name to our experts database so that our teachers can contact you. (It may be as a guest speaker, a connection for a field trip opportunity, or to answer questions and point to resources about the field so that the projects and information are current and relevant.) Families of Seniors: Don’t forget that Senior Portraits are coming up Saturday September 27th at Studio 8443 Warner, Culver City. If you haven’t made your appointment yet, there are still a few spots available!

Dana Middle School loves using DVS 11th and 12th graders to be counselors at their 6th Grade Camp. The camp runs from October 6th – October 10th, so DVS students would be absent from school that week. Please talk to your student and see if they are interested in applying to be a counselor!
